Job Brief:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Recruiter who specializes in hiring Assistant Pharmacists (Pharmacy Assistants) across Ontario. This role is ideal for someone who understands the pharmacy sector, has a strong network, and can efficiently source, screen, and place qualified candidates for multiple pharmacy locations.
You’ll play a key role in building high‑performing pharmacy teams by identifying top talent and ensuring a smooth, professional recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Responsibilities:
Lead full‑cycle recruitment for Assistant Pharmacists and other pharmacy support roles across Ontario
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates
Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidate suitability
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for ongoing and future hiring needs
Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and support the selection process
Manage job postings across platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and industry‑specific boards
Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure compliance with employment standards
Represent the company professionally and promote a positive employer brand
Provide regular updates and hiring insights to management
Skills Required:
Proven experience recruiting Assistant Pharmacists / Pharmacy Assistants in Ontario
Strong understanding of pharmacy roles, workflow, and regulatory requirements
Excellent communication, interviewing, and relationship‑building skills
Ability to manage multiple roles and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Experience with ATS systems and online recruitment tools
Knowledge of Ontario labour standards and hiring best practices
Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently
