Infocentric Solutions Inc. is seeking a talented and motivated professional to join our team as a Vulnerability and Penetration Tester (VaPT). As a Vulnerability and Penetration Tester, you will play a crucial role in identifying and addressing potential security risks within systems and networks. You will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, simulating real-world cyber-attacks, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance our overall security posture.

 

Responsibilities:

Vulnerability Assessment:

• Perform regular and ad-hoc vulnerability assessments on systems and networks.
• Utilize industry-standard tools and methodologies to identify and prioritize potential vulnerabilities.

Penetration Testing:

• Conduct penetration tests to simulate cyber-attacks and identify weaknesses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to exploit vulnerabilities and assess the impact on our systems.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare comprehensive and detailed reports outlining identified vulnerabilities, potential exploits, and recommended remediation steps.
• Maintain accurate documentation of testing procedures, findings, and remediation efforts.

Collaboration:

• Provide guidance on security best practices and assist in the implementation of security measures.

Stay Current with Security Trends:

• Keep up-to-date of the latest cyberecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
• Continuously enhance skills and certifications to maintain a high level of expertise in the field.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience as a Vulnerability and Penetration Tester.
• In-depth knowledge of common security frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or CISSP are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
