🔧 Role Overview
We're seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with strong hands-on experience in SAP BTP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model). This role supports next-gen application development on SAP Business Technology Platform with a focus on cloud-ready architecture and Fiori-centric design.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud-ready applications using SAP RAP, adhering to clean core principles.
- Implement business services with CDS views, behavior definitions, and managed/unmanaged implementations.
- Integrate developed solutions with Fiori/UI5 front-ends and other BTP services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure scalability, performance, and security compliance within the BTP landscape.
- Support debugging and performance tuning across BTP applications.
🧠 Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in ABAP development, with at least 3+ year specifically in BTP RAP projects.
- Proficiency in CDS Views, BOPF, Behavior Definitions, OData V4, and Fiori Elements.
- Solid understanding of Clean Core strategy, Cloud Application Programming (CAP) model exposure is a plus.
- Hands-on with SAP Business Technology Platform, ABAP RESTful programming, and Git-based versioning.
- Strong debugging skills, unit testing, and performance analysis.
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent.
- SAP certifications in BTP or RAP are an advantage.
