ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Project Manager to lead initiatives in Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and Marketplace integration. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of data and marketplace-related projects—from scoping and planning to execution and delivery—ensuring clean, governed, and operational data across platforms.

Experience with SAP Master Data, MDG, or marketplace technologies (such as Ariba, Amazon Business, SAP Commerce Cloud) is a strong advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management & Governance

• Lead and manage end-to-end projects related to Enterprise Data Management and e-commerce/marketplace platforms

• Develop project charters, work breakdown structures (WBS), and detailed implementation plans

• Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation with internal and client stakeholders

• Manage cross-functional teams including data stewards, business analysts, integration specialists, and platform architects

• Track milestones, budgets, risks, and dependencies to ensure on-time and within-scope delivery

• Conduct stakeholder meetings, status updates, and executive reviews

Enterprise Data Management

• Oversee data governance strategies for master data (Customer, Vendor, Product, Finance) across systems

• Collaborate with data stewards and system owners to define data standards, quality metrics, and stewardship models

• Ensure compliance with data privacy laws (GDPR, local equivalents), internal controls, and audit standards

• Guide implementation or integration of data platforms such as SAP MDG, Informatica, Talend, or similar tools

Marketplace Integration

• Manage marketplace enablement projects – B2B or B2C platforms (e.g., SAP Commerce Cloud, Ariba Network, Amazon Business, Shopify Plus)

• Ensure synchronization between backend systems (ERP, CRM, Inventory) and marketplace data (pricing, product info, orders)

• Coordinate vendor onboarding, catalog harmonization, and real-time integration

• Liaise with IT teams to ensure secure and scalable API or middleware-based architecture

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in project management, ideally in data-heavy or digital commerce environments

• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Data Management principles, data lifecycle, and governance

• SAP ecosystem familiarity is a plus (SAP S/4HANA, MDG, Ariba, Commerce Cloud, etc.)

• Experience in leading digital marketplace or procurement transformation projects preferred

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification is an advantage

• Strong communication, documentation, and leadership skills

• Must be able to manage multiple priorities and align technical and business teams
