Position Overview
Infocentric is seeking an experienced IT Supervisor to lead and manage daily IT operations across infrastructure, support, and service delivery. This role ensures the stability, reliability, and security of IT systems while aligning technology operations with business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, proven leadership experience, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
🔧 Operational Management
- Supervise daily IT operations including network, server, storage, cloud, and end-user support
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure uninterrupted business operations
- Implement and maintain IT operational policies, procedures, and standards
👥 Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate IT support staff
- Ensure effective workload distribution and high-quality service delivery
- Provide training and development opportunities to build team capability
🛠️ Incident & Problem Management
- Oversee IT helpdesk and resolver groups for timely resolution of incidents and service requests
- Escalate critical issues to vendors or higher management when necessary
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
🖥️ Systems & Infrastructure Support
- Ensure proper maintenance, upgrades, and patching of servers, networks, and enterprise applications
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT infrastructure and managed services
📋 Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, IT security standards, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate IT documentation, inventories, and operational reports
- Assist in IT audits and risk assessments
🚀 Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to optimize IT processes, automation, and service delivery
- Recommend technology improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 3+ years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure: servers, networks, storage, cloud, virtualization, and enterprise applications
- Experience in ITIL practices (incident, problem, and change management)
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft, AWS, Cisco are a plus
