Job Description

Job Brief - 

Supervisor will support the Store Manager in maintaining company procedures and policies to ensure a consistent environment which enhances the overall shopping experience for customers. 


Responsibilities -

  • Supervise and train staff
  • Tracking employee attendance, ie time management, lates, holiday schedules, etc 
  • Processing returns, void transactions and any other operations that require supervisor approval. 
  • Inspect received goods and update inventory reports.
  • Manage staff or customer concerns and communicate with the Store Manager to find a resolve. 
  • Managing and implementing good store merchandising practices to maintain an organised retail structure.
  • Reconciling of POS units at the end of day.
  • Assist with the opening and closing of store.

Skills Required -

  • Previous experience working in retail
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft office.
  • Good analytical skills to create and analyze reports, sales statistics and spreadsheets.
  • Strong, friendly, customer service skills. 
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work with teams. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Great attention to detail for purposes of attractive marketing displays and maintaining store appearance.
  • Outstanding salesmanship to assist customers with their needs. 
  • Good time management skills to set realistic deadlines and follow specific steps to reach time-sensitive objectives
  • Good physical health with the ability to spend long hours standing. 
  • Progressive disciplinary knowledge
