Job Brief

We are looking for a graphic designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media. The graphic designer job description includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of the website, catalogue, advertisements.

 

Responsibilities

 

·         Preflight incoming artwork using Adobe CS to ensure its printer/production ready.

·         Prepares artwork using Adobe CS to the correct die-line.

·         Coordinates all preproduction tasks relating to planning, de-risking, communicating, organizing and tracking of first run packaging projects.

·         Acts as the liason between sales, customer/designers and production partners for new designs.

·         Communicates printer specifications and requirements to customers and ensure that incoming art is received in the appropriate manner.

·         Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral.

·         Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.

·         Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines.

·         Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.

·         Perform retouching and manipulation of images.

·         Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software.

 

Requirements

 

·         Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.

·         3+ years of Graphic Design or prepress work experience.

·         Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

·         Demonstrated competency in utilizing desktop publishing applications like Adobe Creative Cloud.

·         Working knowledge of how to use Acrobat applications to modify, mark and edit PDFs.

·         Experience with UX/UI design or working with UX/UI teams.

·         Creative problem-solver and strategic thinker who brings passion, enthusiasm and fresh ideas.

·         Excited to grow your design skills in a collaborative environment with a lively team culture.

·         Detail-oriented and extremely organized.
