Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic electrical engineer to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplined environment that develops state of the art medical simulation training devices. You would have experience in analog and digital electronics, circuit design, simulation and testing with a strong emphasis in microprocessor-based products.

You must demonstrate an ability to lead product design and work independently.

The role of the electrical engineer is to:

-Develop hardware specifications
-Design electro-mechanical systems applying knowledge of digital and analog circuitry
-Apply knowledge of microprocessors to design embedded systems
-Trouble shoot system, circuit board and component level failures
support production and test

Qualifications:

-The ideal candidate would have 3 to 5 years experience in digital, analog and power electronics design
-Integrating sensors, actuators and motors into complex systems
-Data acquisition and control
-Prototype design and testing
-Have knowledge of electronic bus architecture, interfaces, data transfer and communication protocols
-Have excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
-Have basic soldering skills including surface mount components.
-Have excellent written and verbal communication

Skills:

-Show ability to work in a fast pace environment with a commitment to meet release deadlines
-Be a self-starter and able to work in a multi-disciplined team environment
-Be technically proficient English language
