Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Bury Recruitment is recruiting for a well-established multinational company, who are a manufacturer of polymer coated board, paper and laminates for food and industrial applications, with winding and sheeting off paper and board.

We are currently looking to recruit Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrically bias 50%). The successful applicant will be working as part of a team on a 3 shift rotation system to maintain the process equipment and machinery used in the manufacturing process. As an Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you are responsible for attending breakdowns within the processing plant in a timely manner to maintain a continuous flow of production. You will also be required to carry out planned preventative maintenance and bring ideas and solutions to consistently improve the way they do things.
Your rotations will include time in manufacturing, packaging, utilities & facilities and automation & control. At the beginning of each rotation, you will be set a series of objectives, so you will always know what is expected of you. You will report direct to the QA/Maintenance Manager on a daily basis with shift reports and discussions regarding events within the day to day manufacturing.
The successful candidate must actively contribute to the continuous improvement of quality, safety and efficiency and will have:
· Good communication skills

· Good understanding of hygiene
· Electrical & Mechanical maintenance on all the sites production machinery
· Planned preventative maintenance.
· Bringing solutions & ideas to the table to improve process'.
· Carry out work aligned to the health & safety processes.
· Working with paper and board converting machines, packaging machines and more.
· PLC fault finding
38 hours (4 x 8 + 1 x 6)
Shift work = 6 - 2 2 - 10 10 - 6
Overtime is to be expected as and when required
Start rate £34,000 increasing £37,000
