About Us:
Block Dojo is a 12-week, in-person programme that helps evolve your business from an idea into an incorporated company that is revenue-generating. We are the UK’s top blockchain incubator having secured 24% of all UK blockchain funding rounds in 2022 (Beauhurst).
 
Position Overview:
As a Junior Designer at Block Dojo you will work closely with our Head of Design to bring creative ideas to life and contribute to the visual identity of our brand. This role is perfect for a designer who is enthusiastic, organized, and ready to make a meaningful impact.
 
Responsibilities:
● Collaborate with the design team to create compelling visual assets for various projects.
● Use Figma to create and iterate designs, prototypes, and wireframes.
● Ensure consistent and high-quality design execution across all projects.
● Manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines.
● Assist start-ups with graphic design requirements for their websites and provide support with marketing or investor materials.
● Provide ongoing support and guidance to start-up companies, dedicating at least 12 hours per cohort per company (one hour each week) to assist with the UX and design of their MVP
● Work with relevant team members to design Dojo products and tools, ensuring a cohesive and user-friendly experience.
 
Qualifications:
● Design Expertise: Strong expertise in UI/UX design, with a deep understanding of design principles, user-centered design methodologies, and design thinking. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
● Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into compelling design solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to anticipate future design needs and trends within the industry.
● Creativity and Innovation: A passion for creativity and a keen eye for aesthetics, combined with the ability to push boundaries and explore innovative design solutions. Stay updated with the latest design trends and emerging technologies.
● Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality design outputs. Ability to ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines throughout all design deliverables.
