Overview:
Blackhawk Digital Marketing is looking for a Web Developer to join our team. In this role at Blackhawk, you’ll be part of the growing Web & Tech team and enable us to build high quality websites.

Responsibilities:

• Code to design specifications on new and existing websites
• Troubleshoot performance and experience bugs
• Uphold best web development practices ensuring all SEO and accessibility standards are met
• Collaborate with web team to discuss new technology, department direction, and improvement on best practices
• Manage individual and project deadlines to ensure on-time website launches
• Share knowledge and mentor early-in-career web developers 
• Research new technologies and tools to make Blackhawk’s web development run more efficiently and effectively

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience creating high-quality websites
• Proven portfolio of launched web properties
• In-depth experience with CMS platforms like Wordpress, Hubspot CMS, and Shopify
• In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, JQuery and other relevant programming languages
• Comfortable with Git, SCSS, Gulp, and other common web tools
• Some experience with APIs and web app integrations
• Familiarity with common Wordpress tools, like Gutenberg, Elementor, Wordpress REST APIs, etc.
• Understanding of web best practices across development, SEO, user experience
• An entrepreneurial and “hands-on” mindset  
• Highly detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
• Highly organized — able to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Compensation:
$45,000.00 to $80,000 per year depending on experience and capabilities
