What We Are Looking For
A collaborative Behavioral Technician with experience working with children or the special needs population either personally or professionally. Someone with a passion for helping to teach individuals living with autism or other intellectual disabilities how to talk, play, make friends and function independently. Ability to work part-time at least three weekdays 3:00pm-8:00pm M-F, and Saturdays 9:00-2:00pm. Ability to work up to 20 hours per week.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing one-to-one intervention in the home setting
- Collecting and reporting behavioral data
- Implementing an established behavior plan
- Following and implementing treatment protocols and procedures
- Learning how to teach skills, modify and manage behaviors from experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA)
- Receiving training in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Watching your clients make progress as a result of your team’s efforts
What You Bring to the Table
- Previous work experience either personally or professionally working with special needs population. Ideal candidates have experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- High school diploma or some college. Ideal candidates will have an AA in the field of psychology, education, child development, or related field
- Excellent time management, verbal and written communication skills in English
- Valid California Driver's License, clear DMV report and proof of automobile insurance
- Acceptable fingerprint clearance through California DOJ and FBI
- Tuberculosis clearance
- Ability to lift/pull/push items weighing up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand, sit, twist, kneel, bend-over, crouch down, walk, sprint for extended periods of time
