Shape the Future of Blockchain—Bringing Business On-Chain
We’re offering a unique opportunity to join Launch Legends (and Autheo) as a part-time Equity Cofounder. Founded nearly four years ago, Launch Legends is at the forefront of bridging Web3 blockchain technology with the next evolution of Web2 integration—bringing businesses on-chain through enterprise-grade solutions, DePIN innovations, and decentralized financial infrastructure.
Our flagship project, Autheo, is an AI-enabled Layer-0 Operating System with an integrated Layer-1 blockchain and complete decentralized infrastructure that includes decentralized compute, storage, identity, and service marketplaces, as well as a Full-stack development environment (DevHub)—engineered for scalable enterprise adoption, developer innovation, and real-world blockchain integration.

About Autheo
With nearly 100 equity cofounders from leading companies and institutions—many with advanced degrees and PhDs—Autheo is solving the critical challenges blocking business adoption of blockchain technology.
Key Features:
Compensation & Growth Path
This is a part-time equity / token-based cofounder opportunity. You will receive equity in Launch Legends, Autheo, and the WFO Creator Network, along with token allocations in the Autheo blockchain. We have already completed an initial financing round to support infrastructure and marketing, and are currently in discussions with VCs and crypto investors to fund expansion and salaries. Salaried compensation is expected to begin following node, token sales, or additional funding.
ROLE: IP Patent Paralegal – Blockchain & Advanced Technology (Equity Cofounder)
About the Role
Autheo is seeking an experienced IP Patent Paralegal to serve as a high-ownership equity cofounder supporting the protection of the company’s breakthrough intellectual property across its Layer-0 Operating System, integrated Layer-1 blockchain, post-quantum cryptography, decentralized compute and storage, AI orchestration, DePIN infrastructure, and related platforms.
You will work closely with patent counsel, engineering, research, cryptography, and product teams to support invention harvesting, docket management, prior-art research, preparation of patent application materials, filing logistics, and portfolio administration. This role requires strong technical fluency, meticulous organization, and the ability to translate complex engineering concepts into clear supporting documentation that enables high-quality provisional and non-provisional filings.
You will partner with the Managing Directors, Chief Engineering Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Research, and IP leadership to help build and maintain a robust, well-organized patent portfolio that protects Autheo’s long-term competitive advantage in a fast-moving technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Support development and execution of Autheo’s IP strategy aligned with Layer-0/Layer-1, DePIN, post-quantum security, decentralized compute, and AI roadmaps • Assist with invention harvesting sessions by documenting technical disclosures, diagrams, workflows, and supporting materials from engineering, research, cryptography, and product teams • Prepare and organize draft materials for provisional and non-provisional patent applications under attorney supervision, including technical descriptions, figures, and supporting exhibits • Conduct and organize prior-art searches in blockchain, cryptography, distributed systems, AI, cloud architectures, and related fields; summarize findings for counsel review • Manage patent docketing, deadlines, filing logistics, and correspondence with the USPTO and foreign associates • Maintain accurate invention disclosure records, portfolio tracking systems, and internal documentation processes • Support claim and application refinement by coordinating technical feedback between inventors and counsel • Assist with open-source compliance reviews, IP ownership documentation for contributors and cofounders, and confidentiality / clean-room procedures • Help prepare IP-related materials for funding, partnerships, due diligence, and commercial activities • Establish and improve scalable internal processes for invention disclosure, documentation, and portfolio administration within a distributed equity-cofounder model
Requirements — Must Have
• 4+ years of experience as a patent paralegal or equivalent IP support role, preferably supporting software, cloud, cryptography, distributed systems, or advanced technology patents • Strong working knowledge of USPTO procedures, provisional and non-provisional filing processes, and patent prosecution support • Proven ability to organize complex technical information, manage dockets, and prepare clear supporting documentation for patent filings • Technical aptitude sufficient to understand and accurately document blockchain architectures, cryptographic concepts, distributed systems, or related technologies • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and written communication • Comfort operating in a high-autonomy, equity-cofounder, globally distributed team culture • Experience collaborating closely with inventors, engineers, and patent counsel
Nice to Have
• Experience supporting patents in Layer-0/Layer-1 blockchain systems, post-quantum cryptography, zero-knowledge proofs, decentralized compute, AI systems, or DePIN • Familiarity with PCT filings, foreign prosecution coordination, and multi-jurisdiction portfolio management • Prior work in startups, deep-tech R&D environments, or high-velocity innovation settings • Technical degree or coursework in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields • Experience with patent management software, docketing tools, and invention disclosure systems • USPTO registration as a Patent Agent (not required)
First 90-Day Focus Areas
• Comprehensive review of existing invention disclosures, provisional filings, and docket status; prioritized support plan aligned with near-term technical and Mainnet milestones • Establishment of clear invention disclosure intake, documentation, and collaboration processes with Engineering, Research, Cryptography, and Product teams • Implementation or refinement of docketing, deadline tracking, and portfolio organization systems • Alignment with IP counsel and executive leadership on support priorities, documentation standards, and near-term filing cadence • Identification of highest-leverage administrative and research support opportunities that accelerate core patent filings
