The Opportunity
Role Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Blockchain Developer to join our team and play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our cutting-edge blockchain solutions based on Cosmos SDK and CometBFT (Tendermint). You will be responsible for software architecture development, feature ideation, and creating third-party services rooted in the developed blockchain.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a new blockchain from scratch using Cosmos SDK and CometBFT (Tendermint), ensuring robust architecture and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create third-party services and enhance the core functionalities of the developed blockchain.
- Conceptualize and implement innovative features, balancing user experience and technical complexity.
- Maintain and optimize the existing blockchain infrastructure, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior developers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the blockchain ecosystem.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in blockchain technologies.
- At least 2 years of expertise with Cosmos SDK, CometBFT (Tendermint).
- 3 or more years of development experience using Golang.
- Comprehensive knowledge of blockchain architecture, design, development, and maintenance.
- Proven track record with at least one production-ready blockchain project (testnet or mainnet phase).
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with smart contract development and deployment.
- Familiarity with blockchain consensus mechanisms and cryptographic protocols.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, peer-to-peer networks, and decentralized applications.
Compensation:
- Equity-based compensation as a part-time co-founder
