About the Organization

GO WFO has been under development for over 3.5 years. We are gearing up to launch:

1. Autheo: Our Layer-1 blockchain platform tailored for creators to own, expand, and monetize their networks.
2. GO WFO: The first Layer-2 Creator Network focused on extreme sports operating on the Autheo platform.

These initiatives are set to transform the creator industry, projected to reach $500 billion by 2027, and the extreme sports market, an exciting sports sector with over 400 million active partipants worldwide. 

Role Overview: Senior Researcher, Cryptoeconomics

We're seeking a Senior Researcher with significant academic and applied experience in economics, particularly within the context of permissionless blockchains. You will take a leading role in designing rules and mechanisms in Monad that ensure the decentralized network operates smoothly. Your responsibilities will include designing mechanisms that optimize decentralization, economic security, spam prevention, compatibility with existing infrastructure, and ease of use.

Working closely with our engineering team, you will design and test various mechanisms. You'll leverage your extensive knowledge of existing blockchains to evaluate options for Monad's design that optimize its security, decentralization, and performance. Your work will help our team mitigate security threats and the risk of centralization. Your contributions will be essential to Autheo's success and its ability to scale safely to hundreds of millions of users.

Required Skills and Experience

We require a candidate with:

• In-depth knowledge of mechanisms and policies in existing blockchains.
• Excellent technical communication skills.
• A strong understanding of major DeFi primitives (AMMs, bridges, oracles, etc).
• High technical curiosity, attention to detail, creativity, resourcefulness, independence, and clarity of thought.

Bonus Experience

Experience at a L1 or L2 blockchain protocol, applied cryptography, distributed systems, game theory, or the ability to code (for implementing simulations) would be advantageous.
