Our client is looking for a Java Application Architect - European Commission

Location: hybrid role but need to work in proximity to Brussels (3h ground travel)

Nature of Tasks:

• Analysis of the integration of different information systems
   
• Data analysis and data modelling
   
• Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture
   
• Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers
   
• Production of software architecture documents
   
• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
   
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting
   
• Creating designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture
   
• Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate of existing system in the cloud
   
• Design and development of architecture components and building blocks using cloud components
   

Requirements

Must Have's:

• Bachelor degree in IT and 10 years of experience OR
   
• Bachelor degree in IT and 6 years of experience
   
• At least 5 years of experience with Java
   
• At least 4 years of experience with each of the following technologies: HTML, CSS, Angular 
   
• At least 3 years of experience with each of the following technologies: Spring, JPA (or Hibernate), SQL

Benefits

• 380 - 410 euros/day depending on experience and qualifications
