Job Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for assigned area/region in support of national objectives.
  • Review and communicate proposals and cost estimates to customers and stakeholders
  • Increase overall sales efficiency and profitability through excellent salesmanship
  • Meets region/area sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Maintains and expands customer base by counseling district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
  • Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
  • Implements trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.
  • Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
    • Relationship building. Externally, with customers and suppliers. Internally with different related and supporting departments.
    • Contribute to the strategic planning of an annual or long term marketing plan to drive forward agreed company objectives.
    • Organize and attend events and exhibitions
