This experience would be preferable in construction materials, quarry products, or other road transport activities.
Experience and knowledge as an allocator of road transport OR in the construction industry is very desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take all bookings for jobs
- Allocate jobs to the staff and asset for sites throughout Melbourne
- Develop and maintain a strong rapport with customers and staff
- Ensure jobs are logged and closed effectively
- Resolution of disputes
Skills RequiredDesired Requirements:
- Knowledge of road transport / building regulations
- Experience allocating large volumes of work
- Enjoy working in a fast paced busy working environment
The right candidate must have:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Tertiary Qualifications in Logistics Management or related field desirable
- Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail
- Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
- Must be able to work independently and strive for success
- Ability to work efficiently and show initiative
- Be highly organised with excellent time management skills.
