Job Description : 

The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for the design of mechanical parts and assemblies (models, production tooling, prototypes, etc.) and their product files, while meeting functional, machinability, and reliability requirements. With the support of the engineer in charge and a senior designer, he/she will develop the product file including all the information necessary for manufacturing. He/She will ensure that the manufacturing plans comply with current standards (for example: ISO2768, ISO 1101, ISO1302, etc.) and with internal procedures developed at SLB. The designer's mission will be the creation and updating of plans for the development, testing, or marketing of the tool, the creation and archiving of bills of materials and their promotion to "Prototype" or "Commercial" status in the PLM.
