Mission Context

Located within the Parrot Drone subsidiary, this position is part of the RF team whose role is to ensure the stability and robustness of all radio links in Parrot products: 5G, WiFi, proprietary radio, GNSS.

This involves:

• Precision in the selection and design of all components in the RF chain
• In-depth knowledge of 5G requirements and standards
• Precision in testing RF HW systems and antennas from the prototype stage to mass production

Objectives and Deliverables For this position, you will be responsible for the design and validation of the product's 5G antennas. To achieve this, you will be expected to:

• Formalize the specifications for passive or active antennas in accordance with the project needs.
• Conduct simulation studies and prototypes necessary for defining the solution using CST.
• Design matching circuits required to optimize antenna performance.
• Develop the industrialization file for the selected solution.
• Conduct antenna validation tests in an anechoic chamber, from the prototype stage to mass production, and write test reports.
• Work closely with the industrial design team, hardware team, and quality team.
