Job Description 

The mechanical manufacturing engineer is responsible for supporting the delivery of products in accordance with the Production Plan, in collaboration with workshop technicians and under the supervision of the Manufacturing Support Manager. He is the primary technical contact for suppliers, possessing a wide range of skills and expertise that require technical support to ensure the delivery of parts on time with the required minimum quality. He collaborates daily with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operational Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain, and Quality, to solve complex production issues, develop technical solutions, and continuously improve manufacturing costs. He contributes to continuous improvement activities and the modernization of the production line to increase efficiency and productivity.

Education:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree (Master's Level)
• Industrial Engineering Degree (Master's Level) with a specialization in Mechanics
• Certificate of training in Electrical Accreditation HE / BE for operational testing of electronic equipment and/or test platforms

Experience:

• A minimum of three years of experience as an engineer in mechanical design with exposure to machining, tolerance stacking, and GD&T.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing process performance
• Experience working in Production (local plant or suppliers)
• Previous experience with SAP is preferred
• Knowledge of overmolding processes and seal design is preferred

Mechanical Skills:

• Material science (mechanical strength calculations)
• GD&T
• Workshop processes: Machining, Grinding, Turning, etc.
• Design of elastomers
• Quality techniques and tools (Lean, RCA, 5 Whys, 8D)
