Job Title: Director of Operations - eCommerce Brands

 

Location: Remote - but must be in British Columbia or willing to relocate. Candidates outside of BC will not be considered. 

 

Overview:

 

We’re currently supporting a holding company of successful eCommerce Brands in seeking a dynamic and ambitious Director of Operations, ideally with 5-7 years of experience in the eCommerce space running large, profitable, Amazon brands.

This individual will play a crucial role in leading and mentoring a dedicated team of 5-6 members, as well as actively contributing to the growth and operational efficiency across five 8 figure eCommerce brands. This is a fast-paced and challenging role with lots of opportunity for someone with the experience and drive to contribute to an already very successful portfolio of well-loved brands. This role will report to the cofounders of the holding company. It doesn’t get much better than this for eCommerce operations pros!

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Drive operational excellence and systematize product launches across the major brands with an emphasis on profitability.
  • Establish omnichannel growth funnels for the brands. Many of them rely heavily on Amazon; the goal is to establish and grow omnichannel sales funnels, including DTC, across the portfolio.
  • Lead and manage a team of 5-6 employees, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Build the high-output team and culture you want to be a part of!
  • Implement and maintain EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) processes and systems within a company of 25+ employees.
  • Oversee brand management activities, either directly or in collaboration with agency partners.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in eCommerce, with a preference for those who have worked with businesses ranging from $10M to $100M, ideally experienced in Amazon marketplaces.
  • A background in developing and executing omnichannel sales funnels from an operations perspective.
  • Minimum experience of managing a team of 5+ members.
  • Solid background in running EOS processes in organizations with 25+ employees.
  • Previous experience in brand management or in a similar agency role.
  • Expert-level knowledge in operations and growth strategies specific to DTC brands.
  • Must be based in BC.
