H&R Block trains its Tax Consultants through its own highly regarded Income Tax Course. In Australia, more than 3,500 students enrol in the course annually. The Level One course provides training not only to potential H&R Block employees but to employees of some of the top financial and accounting institutions in the country.

Responsibilities:
· Drive growth in the number of tax returns, volume, contribution margin and labour productivity, in line with the office plan.
· Provide coaching and mentoring to all Associates within their office, to ensure we truly understand our clients’ needs and deliver the right solution.
· Develop a repeat and referral culture by providing a professional service, at all stages of the sales process.
· Promote ‘Specialised Advisory Services’ to add value to the client experience.
· Drive team motivation through effective communication and sales hustle.
· Execute marketing plans including any National programs, develop and execute Local Area Marketing initiatives and community engagement activities.
· Ensure that the office and team members are always presented at the highest standard.
Skills Required:
As a Tax Consultant you will be:
· Required to be available for a minimum of 38 hours during peak tax season.
· An experienced Tax Consultant, gained over a number of tax seasons.
· Professionally presented.
· Articulate and customer focused.
· A strong communicator, setting clear direction on office goals and team performance.
The Tax Consultant must:
· Have a high level of computer literacy, interpersonal skills, and proven quality tax preparation skills.
· Demonstrate the ability to develop others.
· Complete at least 20 units (equivalent to minimum 20hrs of learning as per estimated time given on LMS under the module) of H&R Block Continuing Professional Education (CPE) training, Tax Software, and Office Procedure Training courses or the equivalent each year
