Role Purpose:

As a Pool Installation Specialist, you will be an integral part of our delivery team that will be turning plans and dreams in to reality. 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

·       Coordinate and support the pool installation team for effective workflow and timely delivery

·       Assemble and install pool shells and prefabricated systems as per design plans

·       Interpret construction plans to guide installation of technical pool components as approved by the Director

·       Ensure construction plans are accurately interpreted and followed

·       Install pool features and fixtures like lights, skimmer boxes, fittings as per specifications

·       Perform concreting tasks such as formwork, screed, and clean-up according to instructions and in a timely manner.

·       Ensure quality technical standard adherence at all times.

·       Prepare job sites, including material handling and cleanup according to instructions and in a timely manner.

·       Manage site tools, materials, and supplies for optimal workflow

·       Operate construction tools and equipment effectively and safely

·       Assist in the installation of technical components like filtration units and water features

·       Ensure equipment positioning and connection meet quality and plan specifications

·       Drive company vehicle safely and responsibly, if required

·       Maintain clear and respectful communication with all stakeholders

·       Support Construction Supervisor in job coordination and reporting

·       Deliver leak-free, high-quality equipment installation with functional outcomes

·       Conduct general site prep and technical groundwork (e.g., digging, acid washing)

·       Procure and deliver materials on schedule per Director's instructions

·       Excellent customer service to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.

Successful customer service activities include but not limited to:

  • Deliver full client service including site walkthroughs and communication and ensure pool installations are completed on time and meet quality expectations
  • Balance chemicals and finalize site prep per Pool Clean and Handover Checklist 
  • Submit completed handover checklist to Admin team and Director 
  • Maintain on-site branding per franchise visibility requirements 
  • Keep customer sites orderly and clean throughout project duration 
  • Maintain and respect company tools, vehicles, and equipment 
  • Adhere to workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures 
  • Provide updates to Director as needed for project progress 
  • Perform additional duties or tasks as reasonably requested 
  • Comply with all company policies and operational procedures 

Essential and Desirable Skills:

  • Have a valid White card or the ability to obtain one
  • Valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one
  • Interest in completing Pool installation Certification  
  • Proven experience in pool system maintenance or a similar role
  • An understanding of the principles, techniques and methods involved in pool building
  • Experience in a role which involves face to face interactions with clients and customers
  • Previous experience in a trade such as carpentry, tiling or concreting
  • Experience working with a variety of power tools

Personal qualities & behavioural traits:

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, take direction and a willingness to learn
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to undertake a police check, health check and alcohol and other drug testing as required 
  • Understanding of and ability to abide by Work, Health and Safety protocols and have Personal Protective Equipment knowledge
  • Ability to work in a flexible, multi-tasking environment
  • Responsible, reliable, honest & trustworthy

Salary: $75000
