H&R Block trains its Tax Consultants through its own highly regarded Income Tax Course. In Australia, more than 3,500 students enrol in the course annually. The Level One course provides training not only to potential H&R Block employees but to employees of some of the top financial and accounting institutions in the country.

The Role:

A Marketing Executive drives profit and promotes services and products through coordinated marketing campaigns.

To be successful in the position you must have the following:

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field

·        At least 2 years of experience in proven social media marketing, electronic direct mail marketing, and marketing campaigns.

·        Proven experience in managing marketing campaigns, including client communication calendars, email and SMS deployment, audience segmentation, and A/B testing.

·        Strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, focusing on optimising conversion rates and building customer journeys.

·        Expertise in social media marketing, with a track record of overseeing organic content across various channels, and collaborating with creative teams to develop engaging campaigns. Proven experience with social management tools like Khoros and content creation via Canva, TikTok & Reels.

·        Experience in Kentico website content management and performance monitoring, with a keen eye for identifying and resolving issues. Experience using Jira, Miro & Figma.

·        Applied understanding of SEO and SEM principles. Experience with SEO SaaS tools including Google Search Console, Brightedge & SEMrush.

·        Ability to liaise with agencies and manage seasonal marketing campaigns across project management tools like Asana & Trello.

·        Excellent analytical skills for monitoring and reporting on campaign and social media performance. Must have Google Analytics 4 experience.

·        Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

·        A proactive and adaptable approach to provide ad hoc support to the Marketing Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and execute the client communications calendar to support sales and marketing objectives and grow owned traffic channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and coordinate advertising strategies aimed at reaching target markets and enhancing consumer awareness of products and services.
  • Create and deploy targeted email and SMS campaigns, across various audience segments, categories, and business objectives.
  • Implement A/B testing and surveys to optimise the effectiveness of campaigns, interpreting results to predict future consumer trends and preferences.
  • Manage subscriber databases across CRM. Monitor campaign performance and generate insights and reports to support business growth and development.
  • Continuously seek advancements in using Salesforce to improve customer conversion rates and collaborate with the Marketing Director to build new customer journey strategies.
  • Plan and manage organic social media content across all owned channels, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives.
  • Create inhouse content and occasionally collaborate with creative agencies to develop engaging social media campaigns, including content development, artwork, and media scripting.
  • Analyse social media performance metrics to assess consumer behavior and trends, providing actionable insights for future campaigns.
  • Coordinate and ensure the timely and accurate upload of marketing content to the website, in line with advertising policies and business objectives. Content creation including copywriting and proofreading of articles for the website whilst applying SEO best practices.
  • Oversee website (CMS) health, Identify and resolve any performance issues, while regularly reporting on website analytics to inform marketing strategies.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the execution of seasonal advertising campaigns, working closely with external marketing agencies to ensure delivery within budget and time constraints.
  • Oversee the production of campaign materials, including artwork, copywriting, media scripting, and placement across various platforms (website, social and digital).
  • Commission and undertake market research to identify opportunities for new and existing products and services.
  • Analyse consumer patterns and preferences to inform marketing objectives, policies, and programs.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the Marketing Director, assisting with the development and execution of marketing policies and strategic programs to meet business objectives.
