Position: Logistics Manager

Job type: Full Time | 38 hours/week


Robodrill is a specialist drilling company headquartered in France with operations globally. Our company specialises in providing and operating drilling machines to various projects, including the drilling of underground tunnels. 

About the Role:
Robodrill is seeing a Logistics Manager to join the team to ensure all the equipment required for all our projects is available and delivered on time so that the projects are not delayed. 

The Logistics Manager will be required to: 
•    Collecting the needs of the Mechanical Engineering Technicians, determining the supply needs and purchasing the spare-parts to Robodrill Head office
•    Implementing and organizing the warehouse, physically and computationally 
•    Creating stockage procedures in accordance with the rules implemented by the French Head office  
•    Determining the required stock levels by reference and taking care of this stock levels, with regular inventories 
•    Liaising with suppliers 
•    Checking the quality of goods and making complaints to suppliers in the event of non-compliance 
•    Making inventories to check the stock levels 
•    Receiving the packages and managing the storage in the warehouse 
•    Maintaining the levels of spare-parts stock according to the requirements of the head office 
•    Using the logistic software for managing the stock levels, placing the orders, organizing the shipping and deliveries, and making statistics and analysis 
•    Ordering the spare-parts to the French warehouse according to the stock levels 
•    Collaborating with the Technical Supervisor in order to ensure the best after-sale service 
•    Liaising with the French Supply concerning requirements for goods and transportation 
•    Coordination and management of the transport logistics in Australia and abroad
•    Overseeing the storage and the deliveries, in full autonomy
•    Delivering the packages on-site
•    Making the packaging in accordance with the shipping standards
•    Shipping the goods in Australia and abroad
•    Managing operational warehouse planning including transport coordination, inbound receipt,
•    Palletising
•    Playing a key role in projects, ensuring the process are well applied.
•    Being involved in the company development in Australia.

The ideal candidate has the following requirements:
•    Be interested in the construction machinery.
•    Experience in inventory management and reporting.
•    Coordination and management of transport logistics.
•    At least 12 months of relevant experience
•    Experience working for a drilling equipment company 
•    Speaks both French and English fluently

•    Outstanding problem-solving skills and good analytical skills.
•    Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.
•    A logical thinker.
•    A genuine love of technology; this comes in handy as you need to keep up to date with the latest IT changes.
