Job Brief:
The CTO Labs team partners with investors (Private Equity) and corporates on their technology growth ambitions, whether it's buy or sell side engagements as part of a transaction, post deal integration or technology strategy engagement. We are sought after as the technology M&A specialists of choice and are known for our commercially driven technology led business insights. We are seeking an experienced, proactive and organised Consultant to support our Delivery teams at CTO Labs. The ideal candidate will have experience in M&A and Corporate project delivery, exceptional organisation skills and communication skills. The Consultant’s responsibilities include supporting the Engagement Lead and Delivery team with overseeing and coordinating projects, contributing to project planning, preparing, analysing and maintaining project documentation, reviewing contracts and fi nancials, and monitoring project activities to completion. This position plays a key role in ensuring the team is supported to achieve seamless delivery and successful initiatives.
Responsibilities:
The day to day aspects of the role will fi nd you:
● Support the Engagement Lead with project set-up and client onboarding
● Assist the Engagement Lead & Delivery team in organising meetings, creating agendas and preparing meeting materials
● Support the Engagement Lead in managing the communication with the client
● Coordinate logistics for workshops and presentations - on site or remote
● Support delivery teams across multiple engagements
● Support the Engagement Lead with management of project fi nancials to deliver the project on-time and within budget including coordinating contracts and change requests as required.
● Support the Engagement Lead in identifying project risks, challenges and opportunities in engagements
● Conduct research, interpret and analyse project related data to support team analysis and contribute to project deliveries
● Project documentation writing as required i.e slide reports, meeting notes etc
● Actively contribute to internal niche IP build of frameworks, templates, processes and practices for engagement delivery
● Work actively to assist on marketing and lead generation activities
● Other areas as agreed from time to time
Skills Required:
● 2-4 years of experience as a Consultant or in a similar role, preferably at a fast-paced tech startup
● Degree in business, administration or a related fi eld
● Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Experience in M&A deals with data room deconstruction and analysis
● Profi ciency with Google Suite and Notion
● Previously worked in a start up/scale up environment with the ability to multi-task in a face paced environment
● Demonstrated ability to handle confi dential information with discretion and professionalism
● A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a willingness to take on new challenges as they arise
● Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
● Eagerness to learn and ability to adapt to new challenge
Work Type: Full Time
Salary: AUD 95,000 to 105,000
