Bumpertech's mobile automotive repair business has been servicing Brisbane and the Gold Coast since 2002. We can fix all those unsightly scratches, scrapes and stone chips at your home or office. Within 2-3 hours and for usually less than excess your pride and joy will be back to pre-accident condition.

 

Our team consists of the friendliest qualified tradesman with years of experience in panel and insurance repair shops. We are looking for a fully-qualified and competent automotive spray painter with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to join our successful and well-established mobile automotive paint repair business located in Gold Coast, Queensland. This is a permanent position with good rewards for a qualified and reliable tradesperson.

 

The Automotive Spray Painter – Vehicle Painter will report to the Shop Manager and will be responsible for the following tasks including:

·       Mixing and matching of colours

·       Prepping and sanding

·       Removing dents and experience working with smash repair

·       Be on top of paint ordering and re-stocking

·       Painting/spray painting automotive vehicles/panels on all makes, models of vehicles

·       Maintaining records, including checking accounts and invoices

·       Be able to train, and focus on their safety and quality of the job

·       Any ad hoc duties required by leadership

The job will be full-time, with hours to be worked between 7:30 am and 4.00 pm Monday to Friday.

 

The successful applicant must have:

 

·       relevant previous working experience of at least 5 years

·       ability to work independently or unsupervised as well as in a team environment

·       excellent attention to detail and takes pride in their craftsmanship

·       strongly motivated, punctual and highly reliable with a positive attitude towards work

·       strong communication and interpersonal skills

·       experience in the collision repair industry

·       current and valid driver’s licence

A Certificate or equivalent educational qualification is desirable. An applicant with at least 5 years of relevant working experience will be prioritised in lieu of the educational qualification.
