Job Description - Our office is expanding and we are looking to hire the right individual to join our outstanding customer service team. We are currently seeking to fulfill a part-time position with the opportunity to advance into a full-time position. As our new Personal Lines Customer Service Representative, you will work 25-hours a week. You will be responsible for maintaining solid customer relationships by handling personal lines insurance coverage inquiries and concerns with speed and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have Property & Casualty insurance industry experience, preferably Erie Insurance, with strong attention to detail, and superior customer service skills. The candidate must also have excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experienced, licensed candidate could earn up to $16+ per hour. Responsibilities - Answer customer calls and correspondence regarding new or existing insurance policies, service claims and address client concerns. •Work with prospects to pre-qualify and understand their needs, gather necessary data, develop insurance quotes, present options, finalize and bind new coverage, cancel old policies, and negotiate with carriers when necessary. •Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, comments, and actions taken in the agency management system. •Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe. •Interact daily with customers, insurance carriers, and fellow employees while conducting specific service and marketing activities.

Requirements - Currently possessing a Property & Casualty insurance license is a BONUS. •Have a Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience. •Familiarity with Erie Insurance is a BONUS. •Bilingual – English/Spanish BONUS. •Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively manage, maintain, and write assigned clients and prospects. •Excellent Communication skills - strong customer focus, ability, and tact to handle difficult customer phone calls and solve complex problems without direct supervision. •Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
