We are looking for NACE Level 1 or 2 certified individuals for our projects in NY.

Responsibilities: 

• NACE Level 1 or 2 REQUIRED. Any other certifications like AWS CWI, ICC Steel & Bolting, NDT, etc. are a PLUS.
• Previous related coating inspection experience.
• Ability to write well for the preparation of written reports.
• Well versed in creating and manipulating electronic word processing and spreadsheets.
• Well organized.
• Ability to work independently, self-starting, self-directed.
• Ability to recognize problems and address them in an expedited manner. Comfortable with “difficult” conversations with contractors.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires long term standing and perhaps repetitive motions. You must have the ability to use your hands to handle, finger or feel; reach, climb or balance; crouch, stoop, crawl, kneel, and sit. You must have the ability to see and smell; including close, distance and peripheral vision, depth vision and ability to focus. You will regularly lift/move/shake up to 40 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 60-80 pounds; and occasionally move more than 100 pounds.

Skills Required: 

• NACE Level 1 or 2 REQUIRED.
• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 1-10 years of experience.
