Job Description & Qualifications: 

As a Lead Behavior Technician you will:

- Be energetic and want to work one-on-one with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. You will travel to their location whether it be from a patient's home, school, or in one of our Centers.
- Assist Behavior Analysts and Clinical Supervisors  to implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans.
- Assist clients with day to day activities, monitor their behavior, record and collect data on client's progress, and communicate with clients.
- You will be assigned to a clinical team and be responsible for implementing treatment plans and collecting data for clients in an individual or group setting.

To be successful in this role, you will display a compassionate nature, empathy, and discretion in your work. You should have excellent communication and time management skills, and be able to develop and maintain relationships with clients, supervisors, and colleagues. Prior experience in a behavioral health setting is advantageous.
 
As a Lead Behavior Technical your development of skills will include:

  • Ensure that New Hires are completing the following tasks:
    • Ensure BTL-1 Program enrollments occur
    • Ensure BTL-1 Study Guide/Training sessions are provided and scheduled as needed
    • Ensure necessary parties are notified when BTL-1 exams are passed
    • Ensure BTL-1 certificates get sent to region Admin Team
    • Ensure BTL-1 progress is being updated frequently on assignment sheets
  • Shadow Session:
    • Ensure shadow sessions are set before new hire training day
    • Ensure shadow sessions are pre–approved by family and clinical team
    • Ensure communication goes out informing all parties of shadow sessions with correct contact information and other appropriate communication need
    • Ensure shadow sessions information stays updated on the HR Tracker
    • Ensure shadow sessions are inputted into MeasurePM 
  • New Hire Week:
    • Ensure all timelines are followed on the new hire week schedule 
    • Ensure new hire progress is communicated with all necessary parties 
    • Ensure HR stays updated 
    • Ensure new hires are given proper support and training 
  • Shadow Worksheets:
    • Ensure Competency Checklist is gone over with new hire prior to the shadow sessions
    • Ensure Competency Worksheets are collected and uploaded to drive
    • Ensure if extra training is needed based in Competency Checklist, making sure the necessary steps are taken (such as- reaching out to Clinical Director, Training Coordinator, and/or assigned Clinical Supervisor)
  • New Hire Check-ins:
    • Schedule check-in meeting two weeks after new hires starters on case assignments
    • Send email to assigned Clinical Supervisor and BCBAs reviewing the check-in meetings and any updates they should be aware of
  • Overlaps
    • BIP Support 
      • Help direct staff implement client specific BIP 
      • Alert clinical supervisor and BCBA on case of your observations, Feedback, and recommendations
    • Goal Support 
      • Help Direct Staff implement client specific goals 
      • Alert clinical supervisor and BCBA on case of your observations, Feedback, and recommendations
    • Data Support 
      • Help Direct Staff take correct and sufficient data for each goal 
      • Alert clinical supervisor and BCBA on case of your observations, Feedback, and recommendations
    • Session Note Support 
      • Help Direct Staff take correct and sufficient Session Notes 
      • Alert clinical supervisor and BCBA on case of your observations, Feedback, and recommendations
    • Materials 
      • Make PECS, token boards, pictures
  • Parent Education 
    • Do assignment intakes within one week of assigned date
    • Upload documents to client folder 
    • Update spreadsheet
  • Parent Goals
    • Help parents work on and run goals assigned to them in the client’s progress reports 
    • Alert clinical supervisor and BCBA on case of your observation, Feedback and recommendations




Compensation:  $18.50 to $24 Hourly plus paid drive time and mileage reimbursement
