A bit about the role

At Absoft, we’re passionate about providing unparalleled support and innovative solutions to our clients. As an SAP HCM/Payroll Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our client base with their on-premise and cloud-based SAP solutions.

In this dynamic and client-facing role, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things related to SAP HCM/Payroll. As a trusted adviser, you’ll need to collaborate closely with our clients to understand their unique business needs and challenges.

What we want from you

As a SAP HCM/Payroll Consultant, you will possess the following professional attributes:

  • Demonstrable experience in supporting clients in SAP HCM/Payroll
  • Proficiency in configuring and customising SAP HCM/Payroll modules including Personnel Administration, Organisational Management, Time Management and Payroll
  • Familiarity with UK Payroll – both technical and legislative
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – you’re great at making concepts simple and easy to understand
  • Experience in contributing to pre-sales activities
  • SAP Certification in HCM/Payroll is desirable

Your day-to-day

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide expert support and guidance to clients in the maintenance, configuration and optimisation of SAP HCM/Payroll modules
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to HCM/Payroll processes, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations
  • Supporting HR incidents, service requests or change requests for our existing customers, as well as involvement in specific projects.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business needs
  • Assisting in pre-sales activities by contributing to proposals, presentations and client discussions
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering their professional growth and development within the team
