A bit about the role

We are seeking a driven Sales Executive to take our re-imagined and upgraded mergers & acquisition service line to market. As our Sales Executive, you will work directly with our innovation and marketing teams, as well as our experienced consultants, to develop and execute marketing plans, foster and nurture leads, and convert those leads into successful projects.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include becoming intimately familiar with our service line, identifying market opportunities, developing those opportunities into campaigns, and nurturing leads to successful closure. You will also identify opportunities within our existing customer base to up-sell the service line, aid in the development of account development plans, contribute to business planning, and coordinate and prepare high-quality proposals in line with our approved collateral.

Reporting directly to our Commercial Director, you will be responsible for achieving sales and revenue targets on an annual basis, with on-target achievement triggering the potential for bonus payments.

To succeed in this role, you should have new business development and account management experience, be target-driven, possess excellent closing skills, and have good time management and planning abilities. You should be a strong team player, have excellent presentation and negotiation skills, be commercially aware, and demonstrate good communication skills - both oral and written. Numeracy and a sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook are also essential.

Your day-to-day

Key tasks and responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Becoming intimately familiar with Absoft’s mergers & acquisition service line
  • Identifying market opportunities for the service line and developing those opportunities into campaigning, lead nurturing, and closed opportunities
  • Identifying opportunities within the Company’s existing customer base to up-sell the service line
  • Aid in the development of account development plans to enable growth of target accounts
  • Contribute to business planning
  • Co-ordinating and preparing high-quality timely proposals, in line with approved collateral such as UVPs and based on approved engagement models as well as seeking input from Consultants and Project Managers
  • Maintaining and updating contractual requirements
  • Communicating clearly with consultants and project managers to ensure our offering meets the client’s needs
  • Engaging with customers to agree any commercial changes required as advised by project managers
