Absoft, an SAP Partner with over 30 years’ SAP experience, is looking for an Account Executive to join our Sales and Marketing Team on a 12-month FTC.

A bit about the role

Key tasks and responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Absoft’s customers.
  • Manage and maintain contractual and commercial requirements within assigned accounts.
  • Engage with clients to forge trust and loyalty, whilst building strong relationships.
  • Drive strategic conversations beyond transactions, to add-on and renewal business within assigned accounts.
  • Perform account planning, coordinating with pre-sales, project managers, and consultants to ensure alignment of projects and ongoing work.
  • Coordinate cross-functional customer teams.
  • Coordinate and prepare high-quality proposals and manage large-scale bids and tenders when required.
  • Manage customer review sessions alongside preparing and presenting reports to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.

What we want from you

  • Account management/business development/customer service experience is advantageous.
  • An interest and drive to acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams (pre-sales, project management, consultants).
  • Experience in managing customer renewals and nurturing end-to-end relationships with multiple levels of an organisation.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing customer needs.
  • Ability to serve as the link between the customer and the internal team, to establish and expand trust with key stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a technology or software company is desirable.
  • Experience partnering with internal team members on account strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time management.
  • Ability to plan work, organise own workload, and engage others in a timely manner.
  • Presentation & negotiation skills.
  • Commercial awareness, focus & responsibility.
  • Deadline driven and self-motivated.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
