Job Brief:

We are looking for a junior UI/UX designer to join our design team and work directly with our senior designer. This is a hands-on role focused on the user interfaces of our software products. Beyond product work, you'll also contribute to ABS's visual presence, creating social media graphics, marketing posters, brochures and presentation templates that reflect our brand. You will start by supporting live work — wireframes, screens, design assets, and prototypes — and grow into owning your own pieces as you develop. It is a strong opportunity for someone at the very start of their career who wants to learn product design properly, with a senior designer mentoring them day to day.

What You'll Do

• Produce wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for product features under the guidance of the senior designer
• Build and maintain UI screens and design assets, keeping them consistent with our design system and brand
• Turn requirements and rough sketches into clean, usable interface designs
• Help organize and extend the design system (components, styles, patterns)
• Incorporate feedback from the senior designer, product, and development teams through review cycles
• Prepare design handoffs for developers and support them during implementation
• Design social media graphics and digital assets for ABS's online channels
• Create and update company presentation templates and slide decks

What We're Looking For
Required

• 0–1 year of experience in UI/UX or product design (internships, freelance, or strong academic/portfolio work all count)
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or Visual Communication, or equivalent
• A portfolio showing UI design and an understanding of user-centered thinking — quality of thinking matters more than years
• Working knowledge of Figma (our primary design tool)
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, illustrator, indesign) and other design softwares like Canva
• Solid grasp of layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy
• Eagerness to learn, take feedback well, and grow under mentorship
• Good communication in English and Arabic

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with design systems and component-based design
• Basic understanding of how designs get built (HTML/CSS awareness, developer handoff)
• Exposure to enterprise or B2B software interfaces
• Interest in prototyping and interaction design
