ABS is hiring an Implementation Associate for its B2B procurement platform.

The role has three parts:

1.       Implementing the platform for buyers.

2.       Helping suppliers and buyers register and use the platform.

3.       Testing new releases before they reach customers.

Implementing the platform for buyers

You take each new buyer from signing up to running its first request for quotation on the platform.

•         Configure the buyer's organization, users, and approval rules.

•         Load the buyer's supplier and item data and resolve what the import cannot match.

•         Coordinate ERP integration with the ABS SAP team for buyers who use it.

•         Train the buyer's purchasing staff.

Supplier and buyer support

You are the single point of contact for suppliers and the first point of contact for buyer users after setup.

•         Help invited suppliers register and submit their first quote, and follow up with those who have not before the buyer's deadline.

•         Answer suppliers' and buyers' questions about the platform, in Arabic and English.

•         Track recurring questions and turn them into product change requests, so the same question stops coming up.

•         Maintain the help material in Arabic and English.

Testing

You test every release before it is published, in a fixed block of time each week.

•         Run the test scenarios and report defects with the steps to reproduce them.

•         Re-test fixes before they are closed.

•         Turn problems reported by customers into new test scenarios.

What we are looking for

Required:

•         A bachelor’s degree in engineering, MIS, BIS, Computer Science, or a related field.

•         Arabic and English, written and spoken.

•         A basic understanding of purchasing: requests for quotation, quotations, purchase orders, and vendor records.

•         Comfortable with Excel.

•         Careful and methodical, and comfortable on the phone with people you have not met.

•         Zero to two years of relevant experience.

Good to have:

•         Experience with an ERP system such as SAP Business One.

•         Experience in software testing or in a support role.
