We are seeking a dedicated Autism Specialist to join our team. As an Autism Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing support to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Your expertise in behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis will help improve the lives of those affected by autism.
Responsibilities:
- Implement applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Provide one-on-one behavioral therapy sessions to children with autism
- Collect and analyze data to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, psychologists, and educators to ensure comprehensive care
- Assist in carrying out individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with autism
- Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and other professionals working with individuals with autism
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- You are required to drive up to 20 miles to client locations
This is an entry level position and full paid training will be provided.
Current Availability: Between 2 and 8 pm Monday-Saturdays open, Sunday's also available.
