Job Responsibilities

·         Work with Logistics and help to resolve problems.

·         Will oversee compliance issues of small Import Dept. of the branch.
Import/Entry Writer/Operations-responsible for handling all aspects of customs clearance.

·         Clear shipments, RLF experience, clearing Classification of invoices.

·         Prepare and submit entries of US Customs and Government Agencies.

·         Work with US Customs and other Government Agencies/Federal regulations.

·         Superior organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
Must be detailed oriented, customer focused and work well under pressure.

·         Ability to multi-task, billing accurately and solve logistical problems.
Computer literate, ISO and supervising experience are a plus

Skills Required

1. Basic English reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Ability to organize, prepare and assemble documents containing data from various sources.
3. Knowledge of office processes, procedures, and technology.
4. Knowledge of US Customs Tariff, Fish & Wildlife Service, FDA, and USDA filing requirements.
5. Knowledge of Air and Ocean import freight release.
6. Computer literate for ABI.
7. Superior organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
8. Must be detailed oriented, customer-focused and work well under pressure.
9. Ability to multi-task, billing accurately and solve logistical problems.
   Computer literate, ISO and supervising experience are a plus
10. Working experience with an International Freight Forwarder is preferable
11. To demonstrate the ability to increase and secure new freight-related business.
12. Preferable 2 years in Customer Service or Operations, in International Transportation business
13. Familiarity with local marketplace and trends
14. Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
15. Aggressive individual to achieve revenue and sales goals
